Key cabinets and key boxes

This is our full range of key cabinets, from small units with a few hooks to systems for an entire property portfolio. Use the filters above the products to narrow it down.

How many keys? Allow for growth. A cabinet that is full on day one gets replaced within a year. The Number of Key Slots filter takes you straight to the right size.

Does it need to be rated? Some of our cabinets are tested to the Swedish standard SSF 3492, which is what insurers and public authorities require when the keys open someone else's property. The rest are theft-delaying or access-restricting, which is enough for most offices and homes. The Theft Rating filter shows which is which.

Key lock, code lock or RFID?

A key lock is the simplest and cheapest option, and works when one or two people need access.

A code lock is the most common choice here. The code can be changed when somebody leaves, and nobody has to carry yet another key. Available both mechanical, which never needs a battery, and electronic with several user codes.

RFID opens the cabinet with a tag or an access card you already use. Several models combine tag and PIN for two-factor access.

Key control: who has which key?

Some of our cabinets track every individual key, not just who opened the door. The cabinet shows which key is out and who took it, and logs everything. That is the difference between knowing somebody was in the cabinet and knowing who has the van key right now.

This is what the Livion and Masterkey systems do, and they are the models our English-speaking customers ask for most often.

Should the cabinet be outdoors?

Several of the cabinets withstand weather. Note that the mains-powered models should sit under a roof even when they are weather resistant - condensation is a bigger problem than rain.

Key drop slot

Several of the cabinets have a drop slot, so keys can be returned without opening the cabinet. Useful for workshops, car rental and property management where keys come back after closing time.
