Robust key cabinet with good capacity
The cabinet is built with 2 mm sturdy steel sheet all around, and an even thicker 3 mm steel sheet door.
Inside is 3 key hook strips with 10 hooks each. Thanks to a smarter design in the form of extra depth, you also avoid the occasional closure problems that can be caused by large keys. Thanks to the extra depth there is plenty of space for larger key bundles, but also smaller valuables in the bottom of the cabinet (such as wallets, passports and so on).
Electronic code lock with illuminated display
The lock system consists of a battery-powered electronic code lock that is driven by 4 standard alkaline AA batteries to avoid unnecessary cords. The illuminated code lock display allows for even simpler use, and enhances the overall design of the key safe quite a bit. It is easy to set your personal code and the cabinet comes with a helpful manual until you learn it by heart.
Smart fittings - Key rings included
With the cabinet comes 10 loose key hook strips with 10 hooks each, as well as number strips for the hooks so that you can achieve a good order of your keys inside the safe. Thanks to the loose strips you can customise the cabinet for your specific needs. As bonus you will also get 30 key chains with tags so you don't have to buy them yourself!
Key drop slit to save battery and time
On the left side of the cabinet is a rectangular key drop hole. This will save you both time and battery life. In addition it also allows for easy return of keys for who you deem unauthorised to open your key cabinet.
Double emergency opening functions
One of the really smart features of the safe is the double emergency opening functions. Should you e.g. forget the code, or fail to change battery before they run out, there is no need to worry thanks to:
1.
Emergency opening keys that can be used to mechanically override the code lock - Great if you forgot the code!
2.
External battery terminals that you can hold a 9V battery too while dialling the code to unlock the cabinet - Great when batteries are too weak, or if you against better wisdom store the emergency opening keys inside of the safe.
Prepared for wall mounting
The key cabinet has 4 pre-drilled holes in its back for easiest possible installation on any kind of wall. Bolt kit is provided with a safe.
Nice design - Discrete colour
The cabinet is lacquered with a nice looking structural paint in anthracite gray (light charcoal) that is discrete enough to let the cabinet blend in with any wall. The code lock is circular in shape and surrounded by a thin sheet of brushed steel for nicer appearance. The display has an elongated rectangular form, and shines in a nice comforting blue LED-tone when one uses the code lock.
