How many compartments do you need?

Count the people who need a compartment of their own at the same time, and filter on Number of compartments. One compartment per user is the rule in staff rooms and changing rooms.

If you need more compartments later, most of the cabinets can be extended. A single locker and a pack of several have the same dimensions per compartment, so the section can grow sideways or upwards.

Key lock, code lock or your own padlock?

Key locks are the most common and come as standard on most of the cabinets, with two keys per compartment. Several cabinets also include a master key that opens every compartment when someone has lost a key.

An electronic code lock suits compartments used by different people during the day. The user sets a code of their own, and the code can be changed without changing the lock. Choose the code lock value in the Lock system filter.

A padlock latch lets each user lock up with their own padlock. That is practical in gyms and clubs, where nobody has to hand out keys.

What will be kept in the compartment?

A phone, a wallet and keys fit in the smallest compartments. For a handbag, a wash bag or a small laptop you need a deeper compartment. The compartment dimensions are on the product page.

The Outer height in mm, Outer width in mm and Outer depth in mm filters show which cabinets fit the wall or the recess where the cabinet will stand.

Where will the cabinet stand?

In staff rooms, classrooms and offices a lockable sheet metal cabinet is enough for personal belongings. Choose the office and school value in the Environment filter.

In gyms, swimming baths, shops and waiting rooms the compartments are used by people passing through. There a code lock or a padlock latch is the easiest to administer, and the cabinets can be fitted with plexiglass doors so staff can see which compartments are free. Choose the public environment value in the Environment filter.

Should phones or tablets charge while locked away?

Some cabinets have power or USB sockets in the compartments, so the device charges while it is locked away. The Charging filter shows them.

Valuables lockers for companies

Valuables locker and valuables box are other names for a cube locker: a small lockable compartment for what staff or visitors carry with them. The filters here work the same way whatever you call the cabinet.

Stacked, bolted together or wall mounted?

The cabinets have pre-drilled holes in the back, base, top and sides. They are used to bolt several cabinets into one section, to stack them or to mount them on a wall.

If the cabinets stand free on the floor, anchor them to the wall so they cannot tip when several compartments are open at once.

Start with Number of compartments and Lock system.

Then choose Environment for where the cabinet will stand, and Charging if the devices are to charge inside the compartment. Outer height in mm, Outer width in mm and Outer depth in mm decide whether the cabinet fits, and Colour whether it matches the room.
