Robust with plenty of space
The cabinet is built with 2 mm sturdy steel sheet all around, and and even thicker 3 mm steel sheet door. Thanks to its extra depth (compared to normal key cabinets), it is easy to hang in not only small but also larger key bundles. As a bonus there is also space in the bottom of the safe for all kind of smaller valuables.
Smart fittings - Key rings included
With the cabinet comes 10 loose key hook strips with 10 hooks each, as well as number strips for the hooks for best possible order of keys. The key strips can then be placed both on the back wall of the cabinet and on the inside of the door. Thanks to the loose strips, you can customize the interior of your key cabinet for whatever purposes you need to. In addition to the above, you also get 104 key rings for even easier organisation of the keys inside the cabinet.
Electronic code lock with illuminated display
The lock system consists of a battery-powered electronic code lock that is driven by 4 standard alkaline AA batteries to avoid unnecessary cords. The illuminated code lock display allows for even simpler use, and enhances the overall design of the key safe quite a bit. It is easy to set your personal code and the cabinet comes with a helpful manual until you learn it by heart.
Key drop slit to save battery and time
On the left side of the cabinet is a hole for key drop. Thanks to this you don't have to open the safe all the time which saves you both time and battery life. As a bonus this also allows for easy return of keys for any who might be unauthorised to open your key cabinet.
Prepared for easy installation
Bolts are included with the key cabinet and there are four holes in the back of the cabinet for easiest possible installation.
Double emergency opening functions
One of the really smart things about the nice looking key cabinets in the PX series is that they are all (except for PX20) equipped with two emergency opening functions. Besides the standard emergency opening keys, there is also the visible 9-volt battery connection that allows you to power the code lock by holding a 9-volt battery against the connectors while entering the code. Very useful function!
Nice and thought out design
The cabinet is lacquered with a very nice but discrete looking anthracite gray (light charcoal) structural paint to blend in with all kind of classic indoors.
Nice design - Discrete colour
The cabinet is lacquered with a nice looking structural paint in anthracite gray (light charcoal) that is discrete enough to let the cabinet blend in with any wall. The code lock is circular in shape and surrounded by a thin sheet of brushed steel for nicer appearance. The display has an elongated rectangular form, and shines in a nice comforting blue LED-tone when one uses the code lock.

Increase safety with a code lock
Increase safety by changing code/digits 3-5 times a year. Since all code lock keys are prone to get worn over time, it is a good idea to change the code every once in a while (or rather digits used) since unequal wear might give away which digits are used in the code.
