1. Delivery and shipping terms

We apply fixed shipping prices depending on weight and delivery method. The text below describes our standard shipping options. If you have special requests, most things can be arranged, contact us before ordering or leave a message in the checkout.

Pallet goods

Goods weighing more than about 20 kg are shipped on pallet for delivery to the street address. The freight cost is charged according to the tables above.

Pallet goods to private customers

The carrier will contact you to arrange a delivery time. You can choose a date within four (4) days from when they contact you. After that, a fee for a new delivery attempt is added, about 375 SEK per day incl. VAT. Any such fee is invoiced to you.

Pallet goods to companies

The carrier delivers pallet goods directly to the street address without prior notification, in order to save one transport day. If the carrier is unable to deliver, a new delivery can be arranged. A new delivery attempt is subject to a fee, about 300 SEK per day excl. VAT, which is invoiced to you.

Parcels

Goods that weigh less than about 20 kg and do not fit in a mailbox are sent as parcels. The freight cost is charged according to the tables above.

Parcels to private customers

The parcel is sent to a service point near your home address. When the parcel is ready for collection you will be notified by SMS and/or email. The parcel remains at the service point for 14 days before it is returned to us. The cost of the return freight is invoiced to you.

Parcels to companies

The parcel is sent directly to the delivery address without prior notification. If the carrier is unable to deliver, a notice is left for collection at a service point. The parcel remains at the service point for 14 days before it is returned to us. The cost of the return freight is invoiced to you.

Letter parcels

Smaller items that fit in a mailbox are sent as letter parcels. Delivery is made directly to the mailbox or hung on the door. The freight cost is charged according to the tables above.

Letter parcels to private customers

The mail carrier first attempts to deliver the shipment directly. If the mailbox is too small, a notice is left for collection at the nearest service point. The shipment remains there for 14 days before it is returned to us. Any fee is invoiced to you.

Indoor delivery

If you would like help carrying the goods/cabinet to the intended place in the premises, call us on 0770-22 01 22 and we will provide a separate price quote for indoor delivery.

Delivery times

The delivery time is normally estimated at 3–8 working days unless otherwise stated or agreed. For special models and larger deliveries, please contact us for a delivery time.

Reservations

We reserve the right for items to be sold out and will inform you as soon as possible if the item has run out of stock or been discontinued.

Freight terms for quoted orders

Cabinets and goods ordered in our web shop are delivered according to our fixed shipping prices. For orders placed according to a quotation, the freight terms are stated in the quotation/order confirmation provided.

2. Transport damage

When the goods arrive, it is very important that you inspect any damage to the packaging and the item or items before you sign for the goods or cabinet. Any transport damage must be reported immediately to the driver of the freight company. You should preferably note the damage on the waybill.

If possible, please photograph the damage. Consult the driver on how to proceed. If any problems arise with the handling of the matter, contact us for assistance.

Claims must be made no later than 7 days after the defect has been discovered to Arkivexperten.

3. Payment terms

Advance payment by bankgiro/postgiro

After the order has been placed in our web shop, payment information will be sent to you in the order confirmation. Do not pay anything until you have received the order confirmation.

For advance payment, the amount must be registered on our bankgiro account 5013-8239 before we dispatch the order.
Note Remember to enter your order number and name when making the payment.

When we see that your payment has been received, normally within 1–3 working days, we process and deliver your order, which takes about 3–8 working days.

A handling fee of 64 SEK excl. VAT is added.

Invoice

After an approved credit check, an invoice is sent with 20 days payment term from the invoice date. If the credit check is not approved, a pro forma invoice is sent which must be paid before the goods are dispatched.

Default interest is charged at 12.5 %.

4. Ownership

The delivered products remain the property of Arkivexperten Norden AB until full payment has been made.

5. Prices

All prices are stated in SEK unless otherwise indicated. Prices are shown excluding VAT unless you have checked the box at the top left above the search field “show price incl. VAT”. To see prices including VAT, check the box.

6. Guarantees

We apply a 2 year warranty against manufacturing defects on all products, with the exception of consumables (such as batteries) or wear parts such as wheels and locks. The warranty applies if a product, despite normal use, breaks down. The warranty is valid from the date of purchase and only covers replacement of defective components. You can hand in your product at the nearest service center, or we can come to you on site, in which case any travel costs are not covered by the warranty, nor is creating access to locks and lock housings. Incorrect handling is not covered by any warranty and any costs incurred are charged separately. Electronic code locks must be kept at normal indoor temperature (18–25°C). Any complaints must be reported immediately after discovery. The warranty card or receipt must be presented or included when making a warranty claim.

7. Quality

All cabinets meet the requirements of the applicable certifications and classifications, which are stated in the product texts.

8. Order confirmations

Order confirmations are sent by email from Arkivexperten about 1–6 working days after the order has been received.

9. Privacy and security

Personal data

When you place your order with us, you provide your personal data such as name, address and telephone number. If you choose to pay by credit card, you must also provide your personal identity number with all 10 digits. When you register and place an order, you consent to us storing and using your data in our business to fulfil our obligations towards you. We also document all communication we have with you by phone or email in order to provide the level of service you expect from us.

Arkivexperten will not disclose your personal data to third parties.

According to the Swedish Personal Data Act, you have the right to receive information about the data we have registered about you. If the information is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you can request that the information be corrected or deleted. In such cases, please contact our customer service.

Cookies

A cookie is a text file that is sent from a website, for example arkivexperten.jetshop.se, to your computer where it is stored either in memory, session cookies, or as a small text file, text based cookies. We use both types of cookies. Text based cookies are only used in certain cases when we need to compile statistics on certain products. Session cookies are used to store login information and your shopping cart when you browse our site. The latter are deleted from memory as soon as you close your browser.

If your browser is set to not accept cookies, you will not be able to place an order via the internet. You can easily change this setting in your browser.

Please note that we do not use cookies to store personal information about you.

10. Right of withdrawal and 30 day return policy

Arkivexperten complies with the Swedish Distance Contracts Act. As a consumer you always have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the day you received the item, without giving any particular reason, statutory right of withdrawal.

In addition, we offer a 30 day return policy for consumers. The product must then be unused, undamaged and still in its original packaging with the specially made inner packaging. You may carefully examine the item but not use it.

For returns, you as the customer are responsible for the return freight. If the transport company requires the item to be sent on a pallet, you are responsible for arranging this yourself.

Heavy or bulky items, such as security cabinets, safes etc.

For heavier products that cannot be returned by post, such as safes, you as the customer are responsible for making the item available for collection. This means that the item must be on ground level or in another location where the carrier can pick it up. The estimated cost for return transport of a gun safe without hiring a moving company is about 850 SEK. If a moving company is required, additional costs will apply, which are also paid by you as the customer. If you would like help arranging return transport, you can contact our customer service.

Used/demo items

Products sold as “Used” or “Demo item” are sold as is and are not returnable. We provide a 1 year warranty on used products.

Always contact Arkivexperten’s customer service before a return to receive the correct instructions and return documents.
