With this privacy policy we want to inform you about how your personal data is processed by Arkivexperten. This policy applies to all data collected in connection with your enquiries, orders and purchases that you make with Arkivexperten, through the use of our website or subscriptions to newsletters.

What personal data do we process

Arkivexperten processes personal data that you yourself have provided to us, that we collect via our website or receive from third parties within the framework of our business network. When you make an enquiry or a purchase with us you will provide information to us, likewise when you register for newsletters. You may also provide information to Arkivexperten for other reasons. The information you provide may be name, image, IP address, email address, personal identity number, contact and address details, telephone number.

For what purposes do we process your data

We process your contact details in order to administer purchases, expressions of interest and enquiries from you, as well as the handling of warranty matters or newsletter subscriptions.

Your personal data may also be used to increase our visibility to you and others through marketing on the internet, as well as for follow up in our sales and product development, for the purpose of improving our services and products.

Arkivexperten always processes your personal data in accordance with applicable legislation. We process your personal data when it is necessary to fulfil a transaction with you and when we have another legitimate and justified interest in processing your personal data, for example an interest in being able to market ourselves to visitors to the website or an interest in developing our website or our services and/or products. If we process your personal data for any purpose that under applicable law requires your consent, we will ensure that your consent has been obtained before we begin such processing.

The AI buying guide

Our website has a buying guide where you can describe in your own words
what you need to store or protect, and get help finding the right product.
The guide is built on a language model. Before the conversation starts you
are asked to accept this policy, and nothing is sent until you have.

What is processed. What you write in the guide, the
guide's replies, and information about which browser, device type and
operating system you use. The guide never asks for personal data and does not
need any in order to help you. If you nevertheless write something about
yourself in the free text, it is processed as part of the conversation.

Why. To answer you at the time, and so that we can see
afterwards where the guide answers badly and correct it. Conversations are not
used for marketing and are not linked to your customer account or your
purchases.

Who else sees it. Your text is sent to Anthropic, who
provide the language model. They process the data on our behalf under a data
processing agreement (personuppgiftsbiträdesavtal) and do not use it to train
their models. Processing may take place outside the EU and the EEA, and where
it does, it is subject to the safeguards required by the General Data
Protection Regulation.

How long. Conversations are stored for three months and
are then deleted automatically.

Legal basis. Your consent, which you give before the
conversation starts. You may ask at any time for a conversation to be deleted,
or simply not use the guide - the rest of the website works exactly as usual
without it.

Security to protect personal data

Arkivexperten is committed to a high level of security for your personal data and has therefore implemented appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, alteration, dissemination or destruction.

Limitations on disclosure of personal data

Arkivexperten may engage external partners to perform tasks on our behalf, such as transport, external warehousing, IT services, marketing, administration of press releases, as well as analyses and statistics.
