HMRAM is an excellent universal alternative for anyone with a large enough storage or document cabinet that hasn't been fitted with any hanging folder fittings.
The frame is easily installed on any shelf with double-sided adhesive tape on its back, and/or underneath (to avoid it from tipping over when the frame is retracted). It can also be attached with help of shorter screws if there are holes for that or you want to make some yourself.
