Secure
Since the keys to anti-theft cabinets are quite long and double-bitted, they are bulky to carry in your pocket.
This often results in hanging or hiding the key somewhere near the cabinet.
The thief knows this.
If you lose the key, there is a high risk that someone will get into the cabinet without your knowledge.
Economical
The keys to anti-theft cabinets are copy-protected.
This means that you cannot make extra keys afterwards if more people need access to the cabinet.
In case of key loss, a conversion kit must be ordered, as well as a new set of keys.
Avoid Vandalism
Since the thief knows that the key is often hidden on the premises, they will attack the interior to look for the key.
Time is a scarce commodity for the thief, which results in, to say the least, careless searching for the key.
The cost of the vandalism quickly becomes higher than what the electronic code lock costs.
Battery-Powered
The lock is powered by an alkaline 9V battery. Use Duracell batteries for best performance.
The approximate operating time for one battery is 1-2 years with normal use of the lock.
If the batteries run out, you change the battery from the outside of the cabinet.
The user code is stored in the lock case and does not disappear no matter how long the battery has been out of power.
Important about the code lock!
Increase security - change the code 3-5 times a year!
When it comes to cabinets with electronic code locks, there is a risk that the buttons will eventually wear out and that some numbers will become illegible.
This makes it easy for unauthorized persons to see which numbers are included in the code.
Therefore, we recommend everyone who buys a cabinet with an electronic code lock to change the code/numbers at least 3-5 times a year.
Lock Function
The code lock has 1 + 1 user code.
