There are many advantages with electronic keypad code locks. For one, you don't need to carry the often bulgy security keys with you wherever you go, at the risk of loosing them (or worse deciding to hide them in the vicinity of the cabinet).
In addition, if several persons are suppose to have access to the cabinet, a code lock can drastically simplify the use of the cabinet for all since codes, in contrast to keys, will always be accessible when needed.
Only those with a code have access to the cabinet's content, while a key might easily end up in the hands of some unauthorised.
Here's how to change the combination on the lock
1. Set the current combination.
2. Press and hold the button on the left side of the lock.
3. Set the desired combination.
4. Release the button on the left side of the lock.
Practical reset function with emergency key
Should you accidentally forget the code, you can always use the supplied emergency.
Just insert it into the key lock, turn it, and the active code is displayed.
