Upgrade Your Safe with a Secure and Keyless Code Lock
A battery-powered code lock is a smart investment that enhances the security and simplifies the management of your S2000 safe. Avoid the worry of lost keys and insecure key handling. With a personal code, only authorized individuals can access the safe's contents.
Flexible and Secure Code Management
The lock can store up to two unique opening codes: one master code and one user code. The user code can only be changed using the master code, giving you full control over access. If an employee leaves or a code is compromised, you can easily change it in seconds.
Why Choose a Code Lock Over a Key?
- Eliminate Hidden Keys: Thieves often search for keys near the safe. A code lock eliminates this risk and helps you avoid damage to your property.
- No Risk of Lost Keys: A lost key poses a security risk and incurs costs for ordering a new conversion kit and new keys.
- Cost-Effective: Safe keys are copy-protected, making it expensive and cumbersome to get extras. A code lock solves the problem of multi-user access.
Operation and Battery
The code lock is powered by a standard 9V alkaline battery (we recommend Duracell for optimal performance). One battery lasts for approximately 1-2 years with normal use. Should the battery run out, it is easily replaced from the outside without opening the safe. Your codes are stored securely in the lock's memory and are not lost during a power failure.
