Upgrade Your Security with a Battery-Powered Electronic Code Lock
Replace your traditional key lock with a modern and secure electronic code lock. With a code lock, you eliminate the problems of lost or stolen keys and gain full control over who has access to your cabinet. This is a smart investment to enhance both security and convenience.
Increased Security – No More Hidden Keys
Keys for security cabinets are often large and cumbersome, which leads to them being hidden near the cabinet – a well-known vulnerability that thieves exploit. A code lock completely eliminates this risk. If you lose a key, there is a high risk of unauthorized access to the cabinet without your knowledge.
Cost-Effective Solution
Keys for security cabinets are copy-protected, making it impossible to duplicate them. If a key is lost, the entire lock must be reconfigured and a new set of keys ordered, which is a costly process. With a code lock, you can easily change the code during staff changes at no extra cost.
Avoid Unnecessary Damage
Thieves often search for hidden keys, causing significant damage to the surrounding furniture and interior. A code lock reduces this risk, as there is no physical key to search for. The cost of repairing such damage often exceeds the price of the code lock itself.
Simple Operation and Maintenance
The lock is powered by a standard 9V alkaline battery (we recommend Duracell for optimal performance), which lasts for approximately 1–2 years with normal use. The battery can be easily replaced from the outside without opening the cabinet. The codes are stored permanently in the lock and will not be lost even if the battery runs out.
Important for Maintained Security
To prevent uneven wear on the keypad buttons, we recommend changing the code 3–5 times a year. This prevents unauthorized individuals from guessing which digits are part of the code.
Features and Specifications
The lock can store two unique codes: one master code and one user code. The master code is used to manage and change the user code.
