Why a keypad code lock?
Code locks are always good, especially if there are multiple that should have access to the cabinet. On the other hand, no more keys are needed that might easily disappear. In addition, you don't have to look for people who might have brought the keys home or are away. It is also easier to keep track of codes than keys!
In addition, with key locks keys are often hidden in the vicinity of the safe (or left in the key lock) to avoid the above. This is most thieves well aware, an even if there is no risk of thieves, that goes for unauthorised as well. So all in all the code lock option is almost always the better way to go!
Choose your personal code
With an electronic keypad code lock you choose your own code by following the manual that is available in English, the current manual can be found under the User manual tab above.
Smart extra function
To relief you of the effort of entering the code each time you want to open the safe, there is a built in function so that you have to hit # to lock it again. Thus as long as you don't hit # you can open the drawers as many times as you like.
At the same time you only have to hit # to lock the cabinet again!
Extra safety function
In order for no one to be able to quickly test the correct code, the lock goins into a three minutes lock down each time someone enters a wrong code three times in succession.
This is great for enhanced security and protection from unauthorised access to privacy documents and so on.
Battery powered electronic code lock!
Thanks to the battery powering with two 1.5 volt AA batteries, there is not need for cables so you can place the cabinet anywhere it fits. In addition, it is very easy to replace batteries when the code lock advice you to do so.
You only need to turn the keypad to the left and swivel it outwards from the cabinet and your in.
Our recommendation for battery type is alkaline quality batteries, and especially Duracell Ultra power as these batteries have proven to work much longer and better with electronic code locks in general.
