Security cabinets with lockable compartment & key board with 21 hooks

The cabinet has a lockable compartment for special access material,
a key hook board with 21 hooks, mounted on the inside of the door,
3 pcs of practical compartments for storing smaller, items
and three removable / moveable shelves.

Rated as SS3492

SSK150B is built by 4 mm steel sheet all around and has a strong 6 mm steel sheet door with several robust lock bolts. The cabinet has been tested by the Swedish Theft Protection Association and is approved as a SSF3492 rated security cabinet. It is as such aslo equipped with a readjustable high-security key lock that comes with 2 keys.

Key lock or Code lock?!

Although SSK150B comes with key lock as standard, there is the possibility to purchase a code lock with the safe and have it installed and ready when it arrives.

We strongly recommend electronic code lock!
Code locks are great for many reasons, not least to save you from all trouble related to keys. Besides this they are clearly advantageous if many people are supposed to have access to the cabinet.
Security-wise, one single forgotten, lost, or hidden key (found by an unauthorised), will give easy and swift access to all the valuables inside the safe until you have bought and received a readjustment kit and new keys, which is rather costly.
Lastly, since security keys are often unpractical to carry around and can't be copied (should more need access to the safe) people often feel the need to hide the keys in the vicinity of the safe.
This is a very bad idea since thieves are often well aware of this, and therefore likely to aggressively search for keys with costly consequences due to damage to your property.
With a code lock there is of course no incentive to neither hide nor search for keys.
