Great SS3492-rated burglary protection
Besides their strong build with 4 mm steel sheet all around and 6 mm steel sheet door with heavy lock bolts, SAF cabinets offer very good burglary protection. In fact it is even rated as a Swedish SSF3492 security cabinet.
The SSF3492 burglars rating means the model is certified by Swedish SF, and approved by most Swedish insurance companies for insured storage of values reaching 40,000 SEK, if anchored to a floor or wall. Sometimes, if anchored in a room with alarm, SSF3492 cabinets are even approved for storage of up to 80,000 SEK. All in all this means you can feel much more confident in the burglary protection offered by SSF3492-rated safes then regular anti-theft safes.
Now with electronic code lock - Smarter then key lock!
As the SAF1000 is one of our most popular security cabinets, we have now arranged a package price that includes both the safe and an approved high quality electronic code lock. There are many perks of choosing a code lock over key locks. One is the obvious lack of keys and thus all problems related to keys. Another - not as obvious - perk is that code locks are many times more practical then key locks if many are supposed to have access to the cabinet. Keys tend to be in the wrong place or with the wrong person when needed. There are also security advantages. There is e.g. no risk of missing keys, or worse keys hidden in the vicinity of the safe.
In addition if a thief sees a code lock on your cabinet there is no need to go on a carless search for hidden keys. The cost of the property damage of such search can quickly exceed that of a code lock.
Thus, an electronic code lock saves both time and money!
Bolt-down ready!
At Arkivexperten we always advice our customers to anchor their safes to a wall or floor. In this particular case this is even a prerequisite for the SSF3492 rating to hold when the cabinet weighs less then 150 kg.
By anchoring the safe one avoid that burglars simply take the safe with them, or try to move it or tip it into a position that makes it easier to break up.
Thanks to prepared holes in the bottom and back of the safe it is easy to bolt it to a floor or wall with the include bolting kit.
Arkivexperten Pro Tip!If you anchor your safe in a corner so that the door is opening away from the wall you make it even harder to pry the safe open, or loose! Thanks to prepared holes in the bottom and back of the safe it is very easy to anchor the cabinet to a wall or floor with help of the included bolt-kit.
Wide range of SSF3492 rated cabinets
Although SAF1000 is one of our most popular SSF3492 rated cabinets we offer a wide range of both smaller and larger cabinets. Almost all equipped with key lock as standard. Though there is almost always the possibility to buy a code lock with the safe for factory installation.
Battery powered?!
Almost all of our code locks are battery powered, some may think that this is a problem - Wont the batteries run out? Luckily that is no problem since firstly the code is saved in the code lock even if electricity runs out (just as in a USB stick), and secondly batteries are easily changed from the outside of the cabinet.
With regards to batteries we do recommended ) 9V Duracell Ultra Power batteries for most code locks since experience tells us they both perform better and lasts quite a bit longer then batteries of other brands.
