Double doors - Plenty of space!
Within the S2 category, S2-FSB 1993 is the most spacious option. Thus it is perfect for larger companies with a lot of precious documentation!
Why buy an S2 safe? Extensive protection!
The S2 cabinets is a step up from your regular document safe. Its burglary protection abilities is superior to those of normal anti-theft cabinets och regular document cabinets. In fact the S2 rating is approved for insured storage in most countries around Europe (although not in Sweden, yet), our closest counterpart to S2 safes is the SSF3492 (previously SS3492) security cabinet type. The good thing about most S2 cabinets is that they do not only protect against burglars but are also fire protection rated and tested to protect paper or other items with equal heat tolerance against external temperatures of 1000°C for up to 30, 60 or 120 minutes (300-500°C hotter then in most average building fires). This particular cabinet is tested to protect its contents for a whole 60 minutes which is more than enough since temperatures starts to go down as soon as fire fighters begin their work.
All in all it can be said that S2 safes bring really extensive protection at a very affordable price!

Prepared for wall-mounting!
We recommend to anchor this safe. There are several reasons for this. Firstly, it is easier for thieves to move or tilt the safe for easier breaching if its loose. Although this is quite unlikely with a safe such as FSB 1993 with its 559 kg, there is still a possibility to move it with the right technique. Secondly, there is a risk of tall safes to tipp over when the doors are opened. Since safe doors are very heavy there is a slight risk of weight imbalance when they are fully opened. This is of course a hazard, that however is easily fixed and completely eliminated by simply anchoring the safe.
Thus it is always recommended to bolt safes down, although there is no formal necessity for this in this case.
Thanks to a predrilled hole in the bottom of the safe and an included bolting kit is easy to fix this and thereby improve the security and safety levels tremendously. Bolt kit is included!
