Opening options
1. Personal code or master code.
2. Personal code + RFID media, e.g. key tag, tag or card.
3. The personal code must always be entered when opening the cabinet. You can then program the code lock so that other users need both tag or card besides the code to open the cabinet.
The cabinet uses the RFID standard Hitache2. If your facility already has an access system with the same standard, you can use its RFID tags to open the cabinet as well.
Robust design
The construction is sturdy, with 3 mm steel plate all around, and 4 pre-drilled holes in the back for mounting on a wall.
Code lock included
This cabinet comes with an electronic code lock that runs on external power rather than batteries that you'd otherwise have to change occasionally. Thus you will have to connect it to your existing electrical systen with a power cord. The required internal electrical junction is located on the inside of the door. You can also connect an alarm to this junction if needed. The perk of an electronic code lock that runs on external power instead of batteries is of course that you never have to change batteries.
Improved security!
There are many advantages with code locks over keys besides that you don't have to carry around keys. If you choose a cabinet with a code lock, you can increase the security even more by changing code (digits) 3-5 times a year.
This will heavily decrease the risk of an unauthorised getting hold of a functional code. Secondly this will avoiding unequal wear of keypad buttons on the code lock that could otherwise hint about which digits are used in the code.
Therefore we always recommend to change code a few times each year. By doing so you get the absolute most out of your code lock equipped cabinet or safe.

If you purchase a software from accessories to this cabinet, you can easily also download a opening log from the code lock. In the log, you get information about the time and date of each user's opening of the cabinet. Very valuable information!
