Although most Swedish insurance companies do approve of insured storage of values up to 40.000 SEK in SSF3492 rated cabinets this is not 100% sure. Thus it is always important to check what applies to your personal circumstances and insurance company. This is of course especially important in other countries since the regulations might differ in both directions. Other countries insurance companies might in fact be less conservative, although the opposite might be true for some.

Do get a code lock. If a thief sees that the cabinet has key lock, there is a great risk that they will cause a lot of damage to your home or office interior by searching for it.
