SPDV is tested and approved as a SSF3492 rated solution by most insurance companies, which means that there is a good chance your insurance company will approve of this solution as well.
Key hand in function
On the side of the cabinet is an extendable and rotating tube with a pocket for keys or other smaller items.
When handing in keys the tube is pulled out until the key drop pocket is revealed, then the used just drops his or her keys into the tube, and push it back in again. Lastly the tube is rotated so that the keys drop into a safety-rated cabinet on the other side of the wall, and their done.
The key tube can be locked from the inside if necessary as well!
Installation instructions
1) Place the key cabinet in the desired location by any wall indoors. 2) Drill a hole in the wall (Ø = 10 cm) at the correct height in relation to the hole in the key cabinet. 3) The deposit tube is pushed through the wall and cabinet. 4) The deposit tube is attached to the cabinet with 3 screws. 5) Fishing cover is mounted in a cabinet with 2 screws.
When installing the solution through a weaker walls, a sheet metal plate with holes can advantageously be attached to the mounting wall and further attached to studs for proper stability.
Flexible solution with varying pipe length!
The deposition tube is available in different lengths and costs different depending on length. In this way, the solution can be adapted to several different thicknesses of walls, while at the same time saving you from having to buy longer tubes than necessary. The tubes are available in the following lengths:
170 - 250 mm
250 - 330 mm
330 - 410 mm
410 - 490 mm

Consider purchasing a code lock with your cabinet!
Code locks are great for many reasons, not least if many are supposed to have access to the cabinet content. The most obvious but also most noteworthy perk of a code lock is that you will safe yourself from all problems related keys such as keys in the wrong place when needed, missing keys, or worse hidden keys. Instead, the code is securely kept with anyone who needs access to the cabinet. Highly recommended!
