Very high security class
SAF 1600 is a security cabinet classified according to the SS 3492 standard. Built from heavy steel plate and tested against burglary.
Interior
The cabinet is equipped with eight lockable compartments and one shelf.
It is also prepared for an alarm with both a vibration sensor and a door opening alarm
It is possible to buy extra equipment for this cabinet if you wish. e.g.:
- Key hook strip with 13 hooks (mounted on the inside of the door)
- Key cassette for 168, 192, or 600 keys
- Extra shelves
- Pull-out suspension file frame
- Laptop support on the shelves, holds 3 double supports per shelf
- Fire box that protects against a full-scale fire for 1/2 hour

The cabinet is prepared for bolting
The cabinet has 4 holes in the bottom and in the back, making it easy to bolt the cabinet down.
Locking
This cabinet is equipped with a KABA-MAS high-security code lock
It is charged by turning the dynamo on the lock before entering the code.
This means you never have to change the battery in the lock!
Prepared for alarm
SAF1600E-BEG has wiring as well as both vibration and opening sensors installed in the cabinet.
All that needs to be done is to connect the existing cables to an alarm box.
