Larger & A Bit Sturdier!
T40 El is a safe, also called a valuables cabinet, of medium size and almost twice as large as its sibling T28 El. Compared to the T28, it is also a bit sturdier with 2 mm sheet steel all around and 3 mm in the door. Spacious yet in an easy-to-handle size.
Better with a code lock!
An electronic code lock offers several advantages. Here are some examples: You avoid searching for keys or chasing the person who has the keys. If several people need access to the safe, a code is always easier than multiple keys. You don't need to carry the keys with you and never risk hiding keys near the safe, which experienced thieves often assume you have done.
What if the batteries run out?
The safe warns you if the batteries are running low so you can replace them in time. If you were to miss these signals or for some other reason can no longer use the code lock, an emergency key is included with the safe, which should be stored at a different address. All to make it easy even when things go wrong.
Increase security
We at Arkivexperten always recommend changing the code a few times a year. This way, you don't wear out the same digits, which in the long run can lead to some digits responding more poorly than others and it becoming possible to see which digits are in the code because they are worn. This is easily avoided by changing the code and digits a few times a year.
