Lock Function
A total of 2 different opening codes can be stored in the lock. One master code and 1 user code. You can only change the user codes if you know the master code or the group code.
Secure
Since the keys for security cabinets are quite long and have a double bit, they are bulky to carry in your pocket.
This often results in hanging or hiding the key somewhere near the cabinet. Thieves know this.
If you lose the key, there is a high risk that someone will get into the cabinet without your knowledge.
Economical
The keys for security cabinets are copy-protected.
This means that you cannot make extra keys afterwards if more people need access to the cabinet.
In the event of a lost key, a conversion kit must be ordered, as well as a new set of keys.
Avoid Vandalism
Since thieves know that the key is often hidden on the premises, they will damage the interior to look for it. Time is a scarce commodity for a thief, which results in, to say the least, reckless searching for the key. The cost of the vandalism quickly becomes higher than the cost of the electronic code lock.
Battery-Powered
The lock is powered by a 9V alkaline battery. Use Duracell batteries for best performance.
The approximate operating time for a battery is 1-2 years with normal use of the lock. If the batteries run out, you can change the battery from the outside of the cabinet. The user code is stored in the lock case and will not be lost no matter how long the battery has been out of power.
