Opening options
1. Personal code or master code.
2. Personal code + RFID media, e.g., key fob, tag, or card.
3. The personal code must always be entered to open the cabinet. Users can then be programmed so that a tag or card is also required to open the cabinet. The programming of RFID is done directly on the code lock and not in the software.
Specifically about the software
With the software for the lock, you can do the following:
1. With the software, you can adjust the lock's settings.
2. Extract a log of cabinet openings.
3. Change user permissions, e.g., code or code + tag/card as opening options.
4. Assign names to users for a better overview.
However, the input of cards/tags is done directly on the lock and cannot be done via the software.
If there is an access control system with that standard, the same RFID tags can be used to open the cabinet. The cabinet uses the RFID standard Hitache2.
Robust design
The construction is strong, with 3 mm steel plate and has 4 holes in the back for wall mounting.
Important information about the code lock!
The code lock runs on electricity. It is connected to the code lock via a cable with the existing electrical system. The required junction box is located on the inside of the door. There, you can also get an alarm signal if you have an alarm that needs it from the cabinet. You must therefore connect the power to the code lock yourself. The code lock does not run on replaceable batteries!
Increase security - change the code 3-5 times a year!
With cabinets that have an electronic code lock, there is a risk that the buttons will eventually wear out and that some numbers will become illegible. This makes it easy for unauthorized persons to see which numbers are in the code.
Therefore, we recommend that everyone who buys a cabinet with an electronic code lock change the code/numbers at least 3-5 times a year.
Purchase software for the cabinet
With the software you purchase under accessories, you can easily extract a log from the code lock. In the log, you will get the time and date for each user when the cabinet was opened by the respective user.
