The cabinet is very popular among campsites, hotels, and car rental companies as it provides a convenient way to hand out keys, key cards, and small items even outside of regular opening hours.

Sturdy construction

The cabinet is made of heavy-duty, weather-resistant, and powder-coated sheet steel and has six separate compartments for storing keys, key cards, or other small items.
The construction is robust enough to be placed outdoors under a roof, where the built-in transformer helps to keep condensation away by emitting a small amount of heat.

Locking

Each compartment has a programmable electronic code lock with one user code per door.
The codes are stored in the cabinet and remain even after a power outage.
The doors can be opened if necessary via a service hatch with a cylinder lock and two included keys.

Tip: For businesses that want to avoid manually changing codes between each guest or rental occasion, the System version (S) of the 9000 series is recommended.
It features time-controlled codes, logging, and simple administration via a computer – perfect for hotels, campsites, and car rentals with recurring customers.

Electrical connection (230 V)

The cabinet connects to 230 V via an appliance connector (C14) on the left side under the cabinet.
It can also be ordered with an internal terminal block for fixed installation, which prevents anyone from unplugging the cable and facilitates outdoor mounting.
(Installation of a terminal block requires a qualified electrician.)

Smart accessories

• Battery backup is available as an option and keeps the cabinet running for up to one hour during a power outage.
• Expansion cabinets (E-series) can be connected for more compartments – up to 15 cabinets can be daisy-chained to a main cabinet.
