In addition to the above, the safe is as a EN1143-1 Grade III burglary rated safe also approved for insured storage of values reaching 210,000 SEK (in Swe), and offers 120 min of fire protection for paper, which is more than enough for most needs in terms of document storage.
Insurance and Grade III
Swedish insurance companies approve of storage of values reaching 210,000 SEK in all safes that has been rated as Grade III, in accordance with EN1143-1. Since there might be different regulations and requirements in different countries (and sometimes different areas), do check what applies to your local circumstances and insurance company. It might even be more permitting!
Weapons and dynamite storage
In Sweden EN1143-1 Grade III rated high security value safes are also approved for storage of weapons that together reaches a protection value of 40 points (according to Swedish Firearm regulations), and small amounts of dynamite.
Locking system & Security
The lock system is regulated by a readjustable key lock (or an optional battery powered keypad code lock at an additional cost). The lock bolts are protected against attempts att drilling with manganese drills. Should you choose the code lock, the cabinet puts itself into a lock-down state after several attempts at opening the safe with erroneous codes.
All bolts are entirely made of solid steel. The rear edge of the door is secured by an enclosing notch, which provides a truly effective break-in resistance. The model is also prepared for bolt-down to a floor, which is a requirement from the Swedish insurance companies for insured storage. Please do check with your insurance company what their requirements are for your specific country and area.
The cabinet is supplied as standard with key lock but can be supplied with a battery powered high security keypad code lock.
With a code lock instead of keys the codes are always where they are suppose to be, and will not be lost or hidden. See accessories below for the keypad code lock option.
Fire protection
Besides this value safe's very strong high security burglary protection, this safe is also built with fire protection for your documents and valuables for a whole 120 minutes, which is more than enough, and makes for a very strong fire protection for less heat sensitive materials (such as documents, banknotes, cash and the like).
Design and finish
The value safe's surface consists of an impact-resistant structural lacquer in white. On the front is a horizontal panel in dark blue colour which is a nice touch to the general design.
Enhance the security even more!
By changing code a few times a year you will enchance security to a considerable extent. This also prevents the keypad buttons to become unevenly worn, which might hint about which digits you use in your code.
