How Does the Fire Protection Work?
In a fire, the outer plastic casing first burns away. The heat then causes the edges to melt together, completely sealing the contents inside. The insulation material in the walls contains chemically bound water that evaporates when heated. This process draws heat away from the contents, keeping the internal temperature at a safe level for the certified duration.
