Sturdy SPRI wooden medicine cabinet
Solid medicine cabinet with a frame made of 19 mm coated particle board with an impact-resistant thermosetting plastic surface.
Standard interior & design
Unlike MSB2-1, MSB2-1-VH, this cabinet has two doors, one for both the upper and lower section, which provides two separately lockable sections. The cabinet is otherwise just like its siblings, standardly equipped with 5 medicine compartments mounted on the inside of the door in the cabinet's upper section and 9 medicine shelves in total. Of these, 7 are cut-out shelves located in the cabinet's upper section, and 2 are full shelves in the cabinet's lower section. The cabinet has left-hinged doors.
This cabinet also includes a pull-out shelf that is mounted in the lower part of the cabinet's upper section. This works excellently as a work surface for more efficient and easier use of the cabinet's contents.
This model thus has, instead of a single full-length door, two separately lockable doors, one for each section. If you would like a single door, you should look at MSB2-1, or MSB2-1-VH (left-hinged door). Search for MSB2-1 in the search box at the top left of the webshop to see both models).
The cabinet's standard color is a white door and white frame, but it can also be ordered with a red door or frame instead. Let us know which color combination you want in the "Message to Arkivexperten" box on the webshop's checkout page.
The cabinet also comes with 4 adjustable legs with a covering plinth to lift the cabinet a bit from the floor/table or similar.
Choose interior and design according to your needs
As the cabinet is made to order, there is flexibility for changes in design and interior for you as a customer. You can choose:
- Design of the shelves
- The type of door compartments you want on the inside of the door
- Lock design (e.g., something other than keyed alike)
- Color of the door (White or Red)
- If you want LED lighting in the cabinet (extra cost)

Locking system and keys
The medicine cabinet is delivered with 1 ASSA 1596 cylinder lock and 2 accompanying keys. All keys work for both locks (unless otherwise specified). If you want an electronic code lock instead of a key lock, you can order an electronic code lock with the cabinet (see accessories below).
Anchoring
We at Arkivexperten recommend anchoring the cabinet to a wall for safety.
Add LED lighting
Add practical LED lighting to the cabinet under accessories. It makes the cabinet even easier to use.
What is a SPRI cabinet?
The term SPRI cabinet comes from SPRI, the Swedish Planning and Rationalization Institute for the Health and Social Services. The term is used for medicine cabinets that follow SPRI's historical recommendations for safe medicine storage, clear structure, and dimensions adapted for healthcare environments, which has made SPRI cabinets an established standard in both older and modern healthcare settings.
