Cabinet fittings
RSVK5 is equipped with a rifle holder for five rifles that keeps them in place so they want fall into each other. On the floor is a buttstock support mat in quality rubber that protects your rifles buttstocks from damage.
Approved for gun storage in Sweden
RVSK-safes are rated as a SSF3492 (SS3492), which means they are all approved for storage of firearms that add up to a total protection value of 20 points according to Swedish firearm regulations.
Lock system
The cabinets lock system consists of a high security key lock (2 keys incl.) that governs its coveted lock bolts.
The coveted lock bolt type comes with several advantages:
- The cabinet opens considerably quieter than other lock types (such as the one on e.g. SP65). This is great if you don't want to wake your family early in the morning.
- The handle and lock stays open and unlocked until you close the safe, instead of locking itself when still opened, as with the SP65's lock type.
- The lock mechanism is very smooth which gives a high quality feeling to the safe.
Prepared for easy installation
Since the cabinet weighs less than 150 kg, it must be bolted to a floor or wall according to the Swedish firearm regulations. To simply this process the cabinet has pre-drilled holes in its floor. In addition to the theft protection, anchoring the safe also provides anti-tipping protection. Due to to the dimensions of the cabinet and weight of its door, there is a risk of tipping when the door is opened.
