Swedish-Made & Ventilated Chemical Cabinet (SP 2369 Class 1)
This robust and ventilated chemical cabinet from JiWa Inredningar is a Swedish-made solution for safe storage. The cabinet is fire-insulated and tested by RISE according to SP method 2369, Class 1, which guarantees a high level of protection. It is ideal for storing smaller quantities of chemicals and flammable liquids (up to approx. 500 liters per fire compartment) in environments such as laboratories, industries, and workshops where a cabinet compliant with EN 14470-1 is not required.
Effective Ventilation & Features
The cabinet has a smart design with an integrated ventilation duct and extraction points at each shelf level, ensuring that vapors are efficiently removed. A connection for exhaust air (Ø 100 mm) is located on the roof. Internally, it is equipped with five adjustable shelves with raised edges and sealed corners to contain spills. A bottom tray with a collection volume of 44 liters is available as an option for extra safety when storing larger containers.
Secure Construction & Locking
The cabinet is built with a sturdy steel plate sandwich construction and insulated with fire-insulating material (Euroclass A1). The recessed doors, along with a welded bolt and a handle with a break-point, provide good protection against break-ins. It is secured with a secure espagnolette lock and an ASSA cylinder lock; two keys are included.
Installation & Use
The cabinet can be placed on the floor or mounted on a wall (delivered without a plinth for wall mounting). For floor placement, a removable plinth front facilitates cleaning. The user is responsible for complying with current regulations and conducting a risk assessment. Ensure that the containment can collect the volume of the largest container, or at least 10% of the total volume. Connect the exhaust air according to the property's fire protection plan.
