Robust & Ventilated Chemical Cabinet – FSV210
FSV210 is a sturdy and spacious sheet metal cabinet with double doors, designed for the safe storage of chemical products and aerosols in work environments where a fire-rated cabinet is not required. The cabinet is fire-insulated with 20 mm insulation in walls and doors and can easily be connected to existing exhaust ventilation to effectively reduce vapor concentrations and create a safer workplace. A perfect solution for workshops, industries, and laboratories.
Flexible and Secure Interior
The cabinet is equipped with five movable, contained shelves. The lipped edge on each shelf effectively prevents spills from leaking containers, protecting both the cabinet and the environment. The bottom shelf acts as an additional sump.
Effective Ventilation
To ensure good air quality, the cabinet has a connection (Ø 100 mm) on the top for connecting to an evacuation pipe. Two adjustable vents, one at the top and one at the bottom, regulate the airflow into the cabinet.
Please note: This is an unrated chemical cabinet and does not specify a particular air exchange rate. For flammable liquids where fire-resistant separation is required, a fire-rated cabinet according to EN 14470-1 is recommended.
Construction and Locking
The cabinet doors feature a wide sealing strip and are securely locked with an espagnolette lock that engages at both the top and bottom. Two keys are included.
Application and Responsibility
This cabinet is intended for the general storage of chemicals and aerosols. It is not suitable for gas cylinders, acids, or bases. The user is responsible for following local procedures for containment and conducting a risk assessment in accordance with local regulations. The cabinet must not be placed in an escape route.
