The BLS1941E is one of the first cabinets in the world to be officially certified according to VDMA 24994, the new European standard for the safe storage of lithium-ion batteries. Testing and certification are performed by accredited laboratories under ECB·S supervision, ensuring independent and reliable verification of the cabinet's protection level.
Advanced Safety Features
- Electronic Code Lock: Comes with a user-friendly electronic code lock with a digital display for secure access.
- Alarms & Emergency Shutdown: Equipped with smoke and heat detectors, as well as a 50°C alarm that warns at an early stage. In case of a fire, the power supply is automatically shut off. A door alarm is activated if the door remains open for more than one minute.
- Safe Ventilation: A built-in ventilation unit with a connection port safely vents toxic gases out of the building in the event of thermal runaway.
- Efficient Charging: One storage level with a PDU (Power Distribution Unit) that has 4 power outlets. Batteries can be charged safely with the door closed.
