Fires in lithium-ion batteries can be explosive and extremely difficult to extinguish. With the Phoenix BS1080-2, a certified and fire-rated battery cabinet, you ensure a safe storage and charging environment for all your lithium-ion batteries, minimizing the risk of catastrophic damage.
Robust Security Features
The cabinet is equipped with a secure key lock as standard (two keys included). For added convenience, you can upgrade to an electronic code lock, which can be selected as an accessory.
Automatic Fire Insulation
For maximum protection, the cabinet features self-closing doors and specially designed fire vents. At 75°C, the vents close automatically, sealing the cabinet to prevent the spread of fire and smoke, whether the fire starts inside or outside the cabinet.
90-Minute Certified Fire Protection
This battery cabinet offers exceptional fire protection for 90 minutes, certified according to the toughest European standards. It protects the contents from external fires (EN 14470-1) and contains an internal fire (EN 1363-1), giving you valuable time to evacuate and take action.
Safe Charging Inside the Cabinet
The Phoenix BS1080-2 is prepared for the safe charging of batteries inside the cabinet. Add power sockets and other interior fittings from the accessories list to create a complete and secure charging station. Please note that the cabinet is delivered empty as standard.
