Thanks to its unique anti-theft improving design with improved steel frame, separated drawers and improved lock system, this series of pedestals is used used in both bank and police offices in northern Europe.
This is of course a perfect indication that any governmental or otherwise security-concerned organisation with theft-worthy information might want to take a look at this particular series of security pedestals.
Improved anti-theft design for extra security
R2NFs frame is specially made of strong cold rolled steel sheet for a stiffer and more rigid construction and thus a better anti-theft ability. Its drawers are furthermore separated by welded middle planes so that one can get into any of the closed drawers even if the drawer next to it is opened. Lastly the locking mechanism is extra strongly built.
Battery powered keypad code lock
The cabinet is equipped with an electronic pin code lock that is integrated into the frame of the filing cabinet. You can then easily program pin codes with help of the keypad so that all who are supposed to have access to the drawer can get into it without the hassle and risk that comes with multiple key holders. The operating voltage for the electric code lock is 12 volts alternating current and the maximum current consumption is 1.6A. Each cabinet is connected to a 230 volts socked via the supplied transformer. Also, if one would like an extra layer of security, it is possible to order a spare battery that can be used in the event of a power failure.
