Maximum Capacity and Uncompromising Safety with BLS1946E
The BLS1946E is the ultimate battery charging cabinet for businesses with a high volume of lithium-ion batteries and significant demands for organization, accessibility, and safety. Its extra-wide format provides generous space on each shelf and enables efficient management of a large battery inventory, all with the same advanced safety features as other cabinets in the series.
Certified Protection according to VDMA 24994
CERTIFIED ACCORDING TO VDMA 24994 BY ECB·S
The BLS1946E is certified according to VDMA 24994, the German industry specification that tests cabinets against thermal runaway with real battery cells. Testing is conducted by accredited laboratories under the supervision of ECB·S, ensuring independent and reliable verification of the cabinet's protection level.
Advanced Safety Features
- Electronic Code Lock: Comes standard with a user-friendly electronic code lock with a digital display for secure access.
- Automatic Emergency Shutdown: Built-in smoke and heat detectors continuously monitor the cabinet's interior. A 50°C alarm warns of critical temperatures, and in case of fire, the power supply is immediately cut off to minimize risks.
- Ventilation for Toxic Gases: An integrated ventilation unit with a connection port safely vents hazardous gases from a potential thermal runaway, directly out of the building.
- Door Alarm: An audible signal is activated if the door is left open for more than one minute.
Designed for Efficient Charging
With four fire-resistant shelves plus the base, the BLS1946E offers five separate storage levels. Each level is equipped with a power distribution unit (PDU) with 8 outlets, providing a total of 40 outlets in the standard configuration. Charge all your batteries conveniently with the door closed without compromising on safety.
Ideal for Demanding Industries
The BLS1946E is the perfect choice for businesses with high battery needs, such as healthcare, e-mobility (e-bikes), education, media, drone operations, industry, warehouses, and the public sector.
