Certified 90-Minute Fire Protection Inside and Out
The cabinet is rigorously tested to provide complete fire protection for 90 minutes. It not only protects the contents from an external fire but can also safely contain a fire caused by thermal runaway inside the cabinet.
- Tested against thermal runaway (VDMA 24994): Certified in class I, that is, tested with real battery cells put into thermal runaway inside the cabinet. The cabinet is also furnace tested against fire from the inside to EN 1363-1.
- External Fire Test (EN 14470-1): Protects the batteries from an external fire for 90 minutes, preventing them from overheating and igniting.
Engineered for Safe Charging
Charge your batteries directly in the cabinet with complete peace of mind. The cabinet is equipped with technical ventilation to dissipate heat during charging. At a temperature of 75°C, the ventilation closes automatically, and the doors self-close to ensure a sealed and secure containment.
Fully Equipped and Ready for Use
- 40 Power Outlets: Four power strips with ten outlets each for convenient charging of multiple devices.
- Automatic Extinguishing System: Built-in fire alarm with a smoke detector and an aerosol extinguishing system that activates automatically.
- Flexible Interior: Four adjustable shelves for customized storage.
- Spill Pallet: Integrated sump in the base to manage any potential leakage.
Easy Evacuation in Case of an Incident
Thanks to the integrated base, the cabinet can be quickly and easily moved with a standard pallet truck. In the event of a thermal runaway, the cabinet can be transported to a safe location, such as outdoors, where the batteries can burn out under controlled conditions. Power cables and alarms are connected with quick-release couplings for immediate disconnection.
