The BLS1946E is one of the first cabinets in the world to be officially certified according to VDMA 24994 – the new European standard for the safe storage of lithium-ion batteries. Testing is conducted by accredited laboratories under the supervision of ECB·S, ensuring independent and reliable verification of the cabinet's protection level.
Advanced Safety Features
- Electronic Code Lock: Comes standard with a user-friendly electronic code lock with a digital display for secure access.
- Automatic Emergency Shutdown: Built-in smoke and heat detectors continuously monitor the cabinet's interior. A 50°C alarm warns of critical temperatures, and in case of fire, the power supply is immediately cut off to minimize risks.
- Ventilation for Toxic Gases: An integrated ventilation unit with a connection port safely vents hazardous gases from a potential thermal runaway, directly out of the building.
- Door Alarm: An audible signal is activated if the door is left open for more than one minute.
