When overheated or damaged, lithium-ion batteries can cause a violent and hard-to-extinguish fire. Our fire-insulated battery cabinet BS895 is specially designed to provide a safe space for both storage and charging, minimizing the risk of fire spread. The cabinet is fire tested for external fire according to SP Method 2369, providing certified protection.
Secure Locking and Flexible Interior
The cabinet comes standard with a secure key lock (two keys included). For keyless and convenient access, we recommend upgrading to an electronic code lock with a hidden code function. The interior includes one adjustable, perforated shelf with a load capacity of 50 kg. The cabinet is prepared for electrical installation (optional) to enable safe charging of batteries directly inside the cabinet.
Ventilation and Customisable Options
To manage heat and gases during charging, the cabinet is equipped with a 100 mm ventilation connection. Further customize your cabinet with practical accessories such as extra perforated shelves, a power strip with surge protection, alarm sensors, and a door alarm for maximum security.
