Code lock included!
Unlike many gun safes this package include a battery powered electronic code lock. This is a wonderful improvement over key lock. Not least because there is no risk of loosing keys, no incentive to foolishly hide keys, no reason to carry around keys. The code lock is powered by a 9 volt battery that can be easily replaced from the outside of the cabinet. It is of course easily set with your own 6-digit code.
Bolt-down ready - although not a requirement
This particular cabinet weighs in at a good 188 kg. This means there is no formal requirement to anchor it to a wall or floor. At Arkivexperten we however always recommend to anchor your safe for both security and safety reasons. Firstly because it is of course possible to move the safe to a safer location for breaching, although it would be fairly tiresome. Secondly because there is always a risk of tipping with safes of these dimensions. Especially when the door is opened.
