Upgrade Your Cabinet with a Secure and Practical Electronic Code Lock
With a battery-powered electronic code lock on your cabinet, you can avoid complicated key management. Instead of keeping track of who has the key, you can easily grant access to those who need it via a personal code. If an employee leaves, you can quickly and easily change the code, significantly increasing security.
Advantages of an Electronic Code Lock:
- Increased Security: Physical keys for security cabinets are often large and impractical to carry. This often leads to them being hidden near the cabinet—a security risk that burglars are well aware of. With a code lock, you eliminate the risk of a lost or stolen key falling into the wrong hands.
- Cost-Effective: Keys for security cabinets are copy-protected. Ordering new keys or a conversion kit in case of loss is expensive. A code lock is a smart one-time investment that saves both time and money in the long run.
- Reduced Vandalism: By eliminating the need for a physical key, you reduce the risk of burglars causing extensive damage to your premises while searching for a hidden key.
Simple Operation and Maintenance
The lock is powered by a standard 9V alkaline battery (we recommend Duracell for best performance), with an operating life of approximately 1-2 years under normal use. The battery is easily replaced from the outside without needing to open the cabinet. Your codes are stored securely in the lock and will not be lost, even if the battery runs out completely.
Important for Maximum Security
To prevent the buttons from wearing unevenly and revealing which digits are used in the code, we recommend changing the code 3-5 times a year. This is a simple measure that maintains a high level of security over time.
