Cash drop boxes for the checkout

Cash drop boxes and deposit boxes at the checkout

Here are cash drop boxes mounted at the checkout. Staff drop notes in during the day, so the till never holds more than it needs to. That makes cash handling safer and limits what a robber can get.

Does the daily takings need storing overnight? Then you need a cash deposit safe.

Not sure which one suits you? Call us on +46 770 22 01 22.

How does a cash drop box work?

Notes go in through a slot and collect in an inner cassette inside the locked box. Staff cannot reach them again, and anti-fishing protection stops anyone pulling them back out through the opening.

The cassette is removed as a whole, closed with a hook-and-loop strap, and carried to counting or to the deposit safe. Extra cassettes are available for some models, so one can be swapped in while the other is counted.

Deposit box with time delay

Time delay means the box opens only a set time after the code is entered. Someone threatening staff cannot get the money out straight away, which reduces the risk of robbery.

Deposit boxes with two slots keep notes apart from receipts, which makes counting afterwards quicker.

Change box for the change float

A change box has a cassette with both notes and coins. Staff put in a larger note and take out the same value in change.

Code lock or key lock?

A code lock avoids handing keys over between shifts, and the code can be changed when staff leave. A key lock is simpler when one or two people are responsible for the till.

Choose in the Lock system filter.

Where does the cash drop box go?

Under or next to the checkout, bolted to the counter or floor. Several boxes come with a bolt kit. The Outer height in mm and Outer width in mm filters show whether it fits under the counter.

The security pedestal sits under the counter and has drawers for both the change float and deposited notes.
