Extraordinary fire protection for paper
The cabinet model is tested and certified at UL, Underwriters´ Labs in the US, as Class 350, a test that also encompasses a heat explosion scenario.
The additional design feature that let each drawer work as an isolated fire protection unit of its own even if others are open brings an additional level of security to the filing cabinet without a doubt.
This taken together means that you can feel fully confident in the protective ability of a PF-series cabinet in case of fire!
Nice and sustainable design
All drawers run on high quality ball-bearing steel guides which offer smoothness and great endurance over the years.
Thanks to the thought out design, each drawer, if closed, acts as its own isolated fireproof unit so that all closed drawers are always protected from fire, even if one or more drawers should remain open during a fire. Lastly a unique manufacturing method provides completely moisture and odour free high-efficiency fire insulation, which gives the PF-filing cabinets an advantage in comparison to many others.
Double-acting central lock function
The cabinet is built with a central lock function that governs all drawers simultaneously so that you only haft to twist the key once to lock and unlock all drawers. At the same time there is a built-in double-acting lock function that allows you to decide if some drawer are to remain unlocked.
Holds 336 suspension files
Each drawer can hold about 112 pcs of folders (calculated from an average thickness of 5 mm/folder).
Nice and durable design
To enhance the look and durability of the cabinet it has been varnished with an environmentally friendly powder coating in light gray, while being equipped with a very nice looking silver coloured handle.
Equipment and design
Each drawer comes complete with rails for hanging folders in A4 format. The cabinet is however also suitable for storage of A4 binders if one want to use it for that.
